using a wet sponge or a Squirty bottle.

from background to finishing.
Q, How long does it Take to dry, before you can Paint it,
A,Drying times vary according to the depth
of plaster and to the weather conditions, On a hot
summer's day for example, Skimmed plasterboard is
sometimes ready to be painted the following day. In
General allowing a week to 10 days should be ample
time.
Q, what sort of undercoat should i use first to seal the
plaster
A, Using a Plaster sealer is
one option, however mutiple coats of a watery emulsion
(not a solid emulsion EG. Once) works equally as well, and
provide a good base on which to use the final thicker solid
emulsion.
Q, why is my plaster not drying out properly
A, If you use a One coat Emulsion on bare
plaster, it will peel off! All plaster will eventually
dry out, unless more water is being added to it EG, a
Leak!
Q, when mixing Plaster what is the best mix to use, 70/30 or
what?
A, The correct amount of Water Added to the
Plaster gives a creamy, smooth Plaster, The amount varies
according to the type of plaster EG, background or
finishing which ever you are using.
