Tools that i use and recommend for Plastering

Trowels:

Trowels: my 1st choice is the Ragni  

Very comfortable grip Stainless steel blade

A good price.

My 2nd choice is a Plastercraft  

Again Comfortable very durable, Stainless steel blade

Also another good price.

Hawks:

Again, both Ragni and Plastercraft.

I carry both Polyurethane and Aluminium

Polyurethane being better for Finishing Plasters

and Aluminium is better for Heavier background Plasters.

Mixer Paddles:

I buy from a company called Refina ( 01202 632270 / www.refina.co.uk )

Their range is excellent, and my current paddle is still going strong after 2 and a half years.

Drills for Mixing:

Any powerful drill < 1100 watt motor can be used to power a mixing paddle,

Always use a circuit breaker if you are using 240V.
